How to delete your account

Option 1: Delete it yourself in the app (instant).

1. Log in to BMW in the app or at cije.live/bmw/login.
2. Open Personal profile from the menu and tap Delete account (or use the Delete account link at the bottom of any page).
3. Re-enter your password, tick the confirmation box, and tap Delete my account now.

Option 2: Send us a request (no login needed).

1. Fill in the form below with the email address on your BMW account, or email admin@cije.live from that address with the subject “Delete my BMW account”.
2. We may reply to confirm the request came from you.
3. We delete the account and its data within 30 days of your request.

Request account deletion

What gets deleted

• Your account: display name, email address, password hash, and settings (email consent, AI journal setting).
• PHQ-9 and GAD-7 screening answers and scores.
• Daily check-ins (mood, stress, sleep, and notes).
• Care-plan activity, topic preferences, and cultural tone settings.
• Trusted contacts and your check-in requests.
• AI Wellness journal entries, your daily AI usage counts, and any AI replies you reported.
• Clinical follow-up flags and staff notes about you.
• Usage analytics linked to your account (visit sessions, page views, and in-app events), and failed log-in records that stored your email address.

What we keep

• A record of the deletion. We keep the date, status, and a masked version of the email (for example, j***e@example.com) to show the request was handled. If you used the request form, the full email and optional reason are kept only until we complete the request.
• Staff audit log entries. Entries that record a staff member's action (for example, “viewed a user record”) stay for security, but the link to your account is removed.
• Anonymous usage data. Visits made while you were signed out were never linked to your account. They hold only a random visitor ID and one-way hashes, so they can't be tied back to you.
• Server backups. Administrator-only backup copies of the server made before your deletion may still contain your data until those backups are deleted. We use backups only to recover from a system failure, never to restore a deleted account.
• Emails already sent. Check-in emails you asked BMW to send to your trusted contacts are in their inboxes, and we can't recall them.
